About this race
The Black Canyon Ultras are iconic point to point 100K and 50K races that traverse the Black Canyon National Recreation Trail through the heart of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. Expect sweeping views, fast desert singletrack, and a true taste of the region’s rugged beauty, a classic event that draws runners from around the world.
Black Canyon is part of the World Trail Majors, and the race has become a benchmark early season desert ultra. The weekend is staged out of Mayer (Spring Valley) with finish lines in New River (100K) and Black Canyon City (50K).
