A 31-mile point-to-point journey through the largest coastal dune system in North America. Experience diverse terrain from towering sand dunes to dense coastal forest.

Start at Tahkenitch Trailhead and traverse north through the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Navigate open sand dunes with scattered tree islands, ford coastal streams, and run sections of remote Pacific beach.

The course winds through old-growth Sitka spruce and western hemlock forests before emerging onto expansive dune fields. Cross multiple ecosystems including coastal wetlands and deflation plains. Finish at Honeyman State Park on the shores of Woahink Lake.
