The 12 Hour is a perfect middle ground timed race: long enough to require strategy, but approachable for runners new to the timed ultra format. You’ll run a repeatable loop at Lake Padden with easy access to aid and support, so you can dial in pacing and fueling without complicated logistics.

It’s a great option for a long day out (and a taste of running into the later hours) without committing to a full 24.
