About This Distance

The Middle Fork Half Marathon is an out-and-back that highlights the best of the corridor: mossy forest, old-growth character, and steady river views as you run beneath cliffy mountain walls. The climbing is modest overall, but the trail meanders up and down the valley slope just enough to keep your legs engaged.

It’s an excellent ‘classic PNW’ half marathon for runners who want a scenic challenge close to North Bend.

Course Details

From the trailhead, the half marathon uses the CCC connector to the footbridge, joins Middle Fork Trail, reaches the Dingford Creek junction aid station, then returns the same way to finish.

Official race-day details list about 1,450 feet of climbing, two aid stations at 1.3 and 7.2 miles, and a 6:00 PM course close.
